Monolithic Insulating joints production

since 1981

Established in 1981 from the business idea of two brothers thanks to their passion for mechanics, Meccanica Segrino can be considered a worldwide leading manufacturer of monolithic insulating joints for gas, water and other fluids.

Insulation joints provide electrical isolation and cathodic protection in pipeline, tanks and pumping station where petroleum, gas and water are carrier fluid. They serve as a positive leak proof long lasting block against the flow of electrical current in all piping systems regardless of the application.

The monolithic insulating joints manufactured by Meccanica Segrino are available for service line and for main line applications in many diameters and different class of pressure (ANSI 150, ANSI 300, ANSI 400, ANSI 600). The insulation joints are designed, manufactured and tested internally using state of the art machinery in order to guarantee the best quality. Manufacturing facilities are located in Italy and are ISO 9001:2008 certified with extensive quality control procedures to ensure compliance with product performance and reliability standards. The monolithic insulating joints produced by Meccanica Segrino are sold all over the world both directly and through local distributors.

As the founders say: "We are strongly convinced that in the field of monolithic insulating joints it’s important to be specialized in order to provide product quality, timely delivery and flexibility, the key success factors to be successful! We pursue these values in order to satisfy our customers of standard insulating joints, made to stock and available on the shelf, as well as of our custom insulating joints, designed and manufactured to meet special customer requirements. Our customer portfolio is made of over 70% loyal customers who have been purchasing our insulating joints for more than 20 years. This is the most important indicator of the quality we provide every day!"

Censis: “32% of Italian water is lost along the distribution network "

Insulating joints are a very important component to reduce the substantial amount of water lost along the water distribution network. Indeed insulating joint avoids that corrosion provokes ruptures of pipes and mainlines resulting in water leaks along the network.
